Undergraduate

The Department of Modern and Classical Languages offers undergraduate students two majors, eight minors, and opportunities to participate in eight interdisciplinary programs:

We also participate in the following interdisciplinary programs:

University general education requirements and College of Humanities and Social Sciences’ requirements must be fulfilled in order to graduate, in addition to major or minor-specific requirements.

Many undergraduates take advantage of Mason’s study abroad program to further their educational and personal experiences.  Foreign language graduates often pursue careers in education and government, which makes Mason’s proximity to Washington, D.C. of particular value to students.
